Congé solidaire® : now available to all employees of the group !

Starting in 2017, the program will be available to all employees of the CMNE Group

Logo Planete UrgenceSince 2010, each year, members of the staff of CMNE France have been taking volunteering holidays (Congé Solidaire®) through the association Planète Urgence. On these two-week assignments, some participants may head to Benin to provide tutoring in a village school, while others travel to Ecuador to catalogue endangered species, and still others spend time in Nepal, providing IT training to young people through a local association.

The volunteering holidays are an exceptional personal experience and 95% of the volunteers would do it again !

Big news: starting from 2017, the program will be available to all employees of the CMNE Group! It doesn't matter which unit you work for (CMNE, Beobank, Enterprise division, NEA or La Française), now you too can have the chance to go on a two-week volunteer assignment (Congé Solidaire®) with the NGO Planète Urgence.

What is the program all about for the company? Giving employees the opportunity to spend their vacations in a meaningful way, making themselves useful and finding personal enrichment through social or environmental projects. That's why the company covers all the "assignment costs". All that's left for the employee to do is to schedule their leave, buy a plane ticket and cover a few related costs, such as vaccines, visas as necessary, etc. (all of which is 66% tax deductible).

So why wait any longer, go ahead and get started on your own assignment. Everyone has a skill that can be useful for others and help take action on issues such as :

  • Leading learning and play activities for children facing challenges
  • Transferring skills to adult learners looking for greater professional autonomy
  • Protecting biodiversity in threatened natural areas
